Data Sources and Validation

PoCham Lab organizes public catalog data and local validation outputs, then exposes only read models needed by the user interface.

Data structure

Pokemon, move, ability, and item data are organized as public catalog data and shown as natural search and comparison data in the public UI.

Original material details stay out of the core public UI so users can focus on search and calculation results.

Validation approach

Sample builds are treated as complete only when they include four unique moves, 66 total SP, item, nature, and ability.

Conflicting or missing source data is not silently overwritten; it remains a follow-up review item.

What users see

Public pages prioritize names, types, abilities, moves, and calculation results so users can make decisions without reading internal collection logs.

Detailed internal collection records and experimental outputs are excluded from production pages and the sitemap until the feature is ready.
